I’m Benjamin, also known as Ben Chi, an Ecstatic Dance DJ and facilitator based in Belgium.
Through my sets, I guide dancers on an inner journey using a carefully crafted blend of global rhythms, electronic grooves, and emotional soundscapes.
I love creating musical waves that flow from soft introspection to joyful intensity, allowing people to connect deeply with themselves and others.
I hold space with care and presence, inviting freedom, playfulness, and authenticity. You’ll often find me playing in cities like Leuven, Mechelen, Turnhout, and Brussels—sometimes indoors, often under open skies.
For me, Ecstatic Dance is more than music; it’s a ritual, a release, and a return to the body. I’m honored to hold that space and share that journey with every dancer who joins.

From global sounds to heartbeats
Heartbeat is the shared rhythm of Ben Chi and The White Arrow — a fusion of music, ceremony, and collective healing.
Each brings their own essence to the space: Ben Chi curates a musical journey with sounds from around the world, flowing from stillness to intensity and everything in between.
The White Arrow holds space through a sacred cacao ceremony, medicine music and icaro's, and a group healing that grounds the evening in intention and connection.
Together, they weave an experience that flows between movement and meditation, between earthly beats and inner shifts. Heartbeat is where the heart finds its rhythm — on the edge of dance and deeper presence.

About Benchi
My journey with music and movement began about eight years ago, when I first discovered Ecstatic Dance. I remember standing in the middle of the dance floor, feeling completely alive, and thinking: “I want to do this. I can do this.” That moment planted a seed. With the support of my partner—who was just my girlfriend back then—I bought my first speakers, and slowly started creating spaces for people to move, feel, and connect.
Since then, I’ve grown into a DJ, sound technician, and event facilitator, working across Belgium and beyond. At the heart of everything I do are a few simple values: connection, humor, and ‘come as you are’. Whether you're dancing, listening, or simply being, I aim to create environments where people feel welcome and safe—exactly as they are.
I bring that same energy to every event I’m part of. I care deeply about sound quality, emotional flow, and the overall vibe of a gathering. And yes, children are always welcome—because I believe in spaces where community includes everyone. Whether you're looking for a DJ, sound support, or a creative partner, I'm here to co-create something real and meaningful with you.
